Where, and How to buy?

 

All items can be purchased through my Etsy store.

 

I accept payments made through PayPal, and major credit cards.
 

At Etsy

Buying through the Etsy store requires a brief and free membership registration

(a Username and Password).

 

If you do not wish to register with Etsy, please feel free to write to me the item/s you wish to purchase.

You may email me via the mail form (click on "contact").

I will confirm your order by emailing you an invoice.

You can make payment through credit card / PayPal.

 

What's the difference between buying here & Etsy?

 

The difference is a small sum of money, and it pertains to the seller (me), not the buyer (you).

If you really want to know, it works like this:

Buying at juanitatortilla.etsy.com :

[Item Price] - [PayPal transaction fee] - [Etsy transaction fee]

Buying direct :

[Item Price] - [PayPal transaction fee]

 

Shipping & Packaging:

 

I will pack and seal your purchase within 24 hours, upon receiving payment.
All packages will be brought to the Swiss Post office, personally.
Purchases made on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Swiss Public Holidays will be shipped on the following Monday.
(Post offices close on weekends and public holidays.)

The default shipping service I will use is ECONOMY LETTER MAIL.

I do not profit from Shipping fees;
the Shipping fee includes:
Wrapping + Packaging, and

Postage, and

Envelope, and

my personal trip to the Post Office!
Now, isn't that reasonable?!

 

I do my very best to protect the handmade goodies (oh, my babies) from any possible rough handling that may ensue from all that traveling!

Also, to put my mind at ease, it would be nice if you could drop me a line, or Feedback at Etsy, to let me know that the mail has reached you safe and sound. I really do appreciate that!

How long?

 

All orders are packed immediately once payment has been received,

and leaves my household within 24 hours.

(Please read "Getting in touch with you", below.)

 

In general, it might take 10 to 20 days for the postal service to deliver your package to you.

 

Policy on juanitatortilla handmade goods

 

Necklaces, chokers, & pendants
Except for photo-taking purposes, all neck items have not been tried on by anyone else, or at any other time.

Earrings
For the sake of hygiene, all earrings have not been tried on by anyone, except for *you*, the buyer and rightful owner.

Bracelets, cuffs, & rings
Hand and arm accessories have been tried on for fit, comfort, and "ergonomics". This is to ensure that no harm will be caused to the wearer (you)! It is also to make doubly-sure all loops and links are well made and stay on!



When creating my pieces, I ensure that each and every one of them are well made.
At the moment, I do not accept returns, and have not received any returns :)

I carefully wrap these precious handmade babies up.
Sad to say, when the package leaves my hands, I cannot be responsible for any loss or damages.



Allergic to cat dander?


My husband suffers from asthma, and is allergic to cats.
He avoids being near one for a long duration.
We keep Fluffy (my cat model) clean and indoors, and my husband has not once had an asthma attack or runny nose.
They are best of buds, 24-7!
Fluffy must be hypoallergenic, or is real special.
But, if not for the instance of photo-taking, Fluffy will NEVER get anywhere close to my craft work.
To be honest, he is never, ever interested.

For safe measure, I will remove all possible traces of fur and hair before packing and mailing.
 

 

Getting in touch with you:

 

Do provide me with an email address where I can get in touch with you.

 

Here are 2 reasons why:

 

{1} "Order / Payment Received"; I'd like to let you know that your money's in!

{2} To inform you  of  "Package Shipped". This is when both you and I will have to sit and wait while the postal service does its job.

 

In an instance where your order and delivery-of-package takes place in a single day / within a few hours of that day, I will notify you with one email: Receipt of Payment & Package Shipped.

 

It excites me when someone expresses an interest in my work!

As a result, I am terribly eager to send the item/s to the new owners.

But, I will have to hold my horses until payment comes in.

I will send you an email confirming receipt of payment, and delivery of your package.
